11/10/2006 - Senior WAW referee Joe Williams have passed away.
Today Isak recived a sad phone call from 'Rowdy' Ricky Knight, Joe Williams had passed away. I'll let Isak describe his thoughts about Joe and their friendship.

'I was surfing the net earlier today, and I checked out the WAW fan forum. There I saw a topic wich told me that Joe had died. I was shatterd. Ten seconds later Ricky called me up and confirmed the sad news. We both talked for a bit, we were both obviously depressed over this loss, but it was expected. Joe had been diagnosed with canser in his bladder, and he'd been in and out of the hospital ever since. Joe was one of Ricks bestfriend friends, one close friend to the whole Knight family, so Rick had booked a show in honor of Mr. Williams. On the show, alot of the british wrestling legends were booked on it, names I can drop are Steve Grey, Johnny Saint, Johnny Kidd, Brain Maxine, Drew McDonald and the Rowdy man himself. I was glad to be there and witness it, Victor was there with me. What a show that was!

Me and Joe had spent many hours on the road together, driving venues and shows. I'm glad I got to know him, we got on so well. So he's a good friend of mine, and he still is. Even dough you have left this world, Joe, I won't forget you mate. I'll miss you...' -Isak.
