- Isak is going to WAW this summer. | Victor did not want to talk about the
loss.
Yesterday, Isak and Victor WRESTLED eachother for a WAW tour contract.
They took this one to the mat, just the way they like to do it. Like Victor said
in his interview earlier on the show, that this was going to be a wrestling
match, and he was so right. They traded locks, holds and submissions trying to
get the advantage on one another. Isak started to work on the arm on Victor,
while Vic were working on Isaks head. They countered eachothers holds every
time, they both found new ways to come back in the hold and then again they
would find new escapes to that very hold.
After a while with Isak really working on Victors arm, Victor caught Isak in his snap powerslam. After ten minutes with beautiful wrestling, the two friends were in a fight. Now they started to trade intense and quick wrestling moves and throws with eachother. They are both so equal when wrestling, they both know eachothers moves. But after a couple of t-bone 'plexes and calf kicks, Isak crossbodied himself and Victor over the top rope, both Isak and Victor were crashed and burned after that move. They both got back in the ring before the referee got to count to ten. Victor got on his feet, so did Isak, then they started to trade uppercuts, stiff uppercuts. With the last uppercut, Isak knocked Victor backwards, and Victor came back with a clothesline attempt where Isak sidesteppes him and rolls him up. 1 - 2 - 3! A clean win for Isak, a bitter loss for Victor. Still, Victor showed his respect by raising Isaks hand in the air.
With out a doubt, this was still one of the greatest matches these two had been in. It was intense, it was physical and it was entertaining to watch. They both wished that they could travel together to the UK and wrestle for Ricky Knights promotion (WAW), but only one could go, sadly enough. But still, both Isak and Victor put alot of pride on the line in this match, and they would risk it for themselves and for the fans.
After
the match, Victor did not want talk about the loss. I could tell he was not in a
good mood, and I could understand why. When you loose such an important match
against one of your best friends, ofcourse that affects you. But remebering what
Victor said about Isak in his promo before the match, I know this will not hurt
their friendship, it would probaly would make it stonger. Fremtiden is most
possibly the best and the greatest tagteam in NWF history, they have proved so
time and time again, so those of you who thinks that era might be over ... think
again.
July 31st, Isak will be leaving Norway and will be heading to the United Kingdome to wrestle for World Association of Wrestling. Isak will be wrestling there all august, it will be good experience for him. We wish him the best of luck.
